I have a P2 volume that has three video clips but only one XML file for one of those clips. This has prevented me from accessing the other two clips in FCP. I have opened the two clips in Avid (since Avid can natively open MXF wrapped files) but I need to get them to quicktime for FCP and have been unsuccessful converting from Avid.
Any suggestions to recreate the XML files? Any software out there that will simpy unwrap the MXF files without requiring the XML files? Do i just need to crash record back to the camera from Avid?
