I went to play my project and a prompt came up saying that it couldnt play it because a reference file was missing. I don't recall deleting any files but when I checked my "trash can" out of curiousity I found 138 Project files in there that I don't know how they got there and I am the ONLY person that uses this computer so I must have deleted them by accident.
Anyway I tried to copy all the files and paste them back into a folder but it wouldn't allow me to do so.
So my question is, what do I do now? How do I get those files out of the Trash and back to where they came from?
Here's another weird thing. I was able to get that same project to play in FCP with no problem. Now when I tried to play that project in iDVD3 all I got was a black screen. I could hear the music with no problem and again a thing came on the screen saying that files were missing. I burned a DVD of my project a couple of weeks ago with no problems.
The only thing I recall doing is that I had a couple of sequences that were totally EMPTY and when I went to shut down FCP it asked me if I wanted to save those sequences and I said no. Now my files are gone. There were no files associated with those sequences though.
Is there a quick fix to this?
