Hi all

There's an annoying problem: I save my project, and when I open it afterwards it opens a window which says there's a missing file and prompts me to look for it or leave it "offline". It never finds it, and then I'm forced to choose the other option. it opens the project with missing sections that are marked "offline" This is very frustrating and happened a couple of times and prevents me from actually working on the edit in Vegas unless I want to start from the halfway point.

It's basically looking for an AVI file. I created one, but it's not there anymore and now I'm working on a Vegas file. Why is it looking for that?

Can anyone help and tell me what's going on?

It only does that if you move or delete a file which is in your Project Media. You apparently either deleted it or moved it to a different folder -- or, it may have been on an external drive which is no longer connected to your computer.
