Mirror image function (flip-flop) on lilliput?

Thought I'd get more responses here than the hardware section.

Q1. I've got a lilliput EBY701 monitor which according to the official specs has an image reversal function. I've read the instruction manual, gone through the monitor, googled to within an inch of my life.

Someone please, for the love of God, tell me how to get the mirror image function to work? I will send good karma your way if you can help.

I purchased this monitor for the particual reason it has flip/flop so I can attach it via a ram mount right to my hvx handle (the monitor only weighs 474g which I think will be fine on the handle).

** This question's for extra points.

Q2. Besides using the mayflash adapter (which I have) to convert the HVX HD signal, is there any other way to connect the monitor to the HVX which is better than just RCA? This is just to keep the weight/mess down.

Thanks

Ian

I can't help you with the flip but I am interested in the monitor. It noticed that it has a relatively high resolution for a monitor that cheap (800x480). How is the image? Do you think it's usable for framing and focusing (in HD)?

Apparently the 889GL 8" monitor does have flip/flop, I'm going to swap the 701 for one.

The 701 is 800x480? And it works fine with the mayflash? I was just gonna go for the 619, but I was interested in the 701 or preferably the 889GL, the info out there is so spotty on these things, so I was just gonna go with the 619 to be safe because other people have used it.

Ther 619, 629 and 701 DO NOT have image reversal (flip flop), the 889GL DOES. That was a big deal for me as I'm using a ram mount to attach it to the HVX handle. The 701 is about 474grams and the 889 is around 700grams so that sux just a bit but it is an inch bigger screen. For my money the 889GL suits me better.

The EBY701 is a sweet looking monitor and I'd say go for it if you don't need to flip/flop. I didn't try my mayflash with it but I'm 99% sure it'd work fine. You can take out the touch screen to make the monitor clearer too.

There's a secret menu (or code) for the lilliputs, just goodle it and you'll find a page on MP3carsound.com (or something like that.
