Minimum Systems Requirements Hack

Hi,

Trying to install FCP 6 on my Powerbook G4 and am having trouble following the directions for the minimum system requirements hack. I cannot for the life of me find the "6 occurences of "minsys.plist" I would really appreciate if someone could guide me to the exact file/folder location of minsys.plist as I cannot find it.

I've been following these directions:

To install:
===========
- mount the "Final Cut Studio" disk
- right-click the alias "Install Final Cut Studio" to show original
- on your HD, drag & drop "FinalCutStudio.mpkg" + "Packages" in the same folder on your HD (to be able to make modifications)
- find the 6 occurences of "minsys.plist"
- modify all these 6 with TextEdit. Examples:
AELMinimumCPUSMP + AELMinimumCPUSpeedSingle = 500 replaced with 1
(make all changes required by your config: CPU, RAM, ...)

Thanks,
Alexander

Hmm- those are there for a reason- right off the bat Motion and Color simply won't work on that hardware. And FCP 6 is going to be quite slow. I recommend a hardware upgrade.

I agree Noah, but I just need to access some files, not even going to really edit. Planning to get a new MBP when Leopard releases.
