MiniDV Tapes

I have a DVX100A, which i use MQ Panasonic minidv tapes exclusively. Now, I have a family minidv panasonic GS9 camcorder that have gone thru a variety of tape brands in the past.
Is it safe to use my MQ tapes in the GS9 for capturing purposes only?

Yes, it is absolutely fine. The MQ is a high quality tape and won't do any damage to other units.

I guess, my main question is, will it be safe to re-use these MQ tapes in my DVX100A after they've been used the GS9 thats gone thru a variety of tapes?
