I know this issue keeps popping up but I just did the rounds at my local electronics stores and I couldn't really find what I was looking for. So now I turn to the people of this forum for help.
What I want is this: a cheap miniDV camcorder to use as a deck
AND use to preview my editing on a TV with a digital-to-analog passthrough.
the deck thing is easy enough, but the passthrough thing is more complicated. Some limited reasearch has told me that most manufacturers - and Panasonic in particular - have removed the d-to-a pass through from their camcorders (probably because people use them as decks).
question is: are there any small camcorders out there who have digital-to-analog pass through anymore?
