Does anyone know of an affordable MiniDV deck that I could just use for capturing purposes? I was using a cheap little Canon camera for that, but it recently bugged out. Any ideas?

How Cheap, Look on Ebay for Sony decks for about 700.00.
For twice that Jvc has a deck that has MiniDV and a Hard drive to copy to and a DVD Burner onto which you can put your finished product or just transfer straight from the tape, all in one unit. I don't know if it has 24p support though.
