Mini-VIDEO: NAB 2012 - Ikonoshop

It's going to be such a tough sell for these guys after the BMD bombshell but I wish them the best. Competition is great for the consumer though.

I don't know, the CCD sensor in this camera is quite a big deal to some people with it's global shutter - no jello cam.
 
They have taken a long time to get to market. This is a tough marketplace and if they had delivered last year they would have owned the space...
 
I haven't seen any footage from any of the other D16/D16+ cams that I like as much as the Ikonskop footage. It still seems to have the most film-like grain. Global shutter and great lens interoperability are two big additional pluses in my book. Conversely, the body price and the expensive proprietary media are the two big cons.

It's also nice that "Ikonoskop A-Cam DII" doesn't lend itself to any feces-related acronyms...
