Mini swivel foam core holder?

Hey guys, I got my grip package in from Modern Studio today and had a question about one item I bought. I got a Mini swivel foam core holder because I often use foam core in shoots for bounce. However, as I was playing with it tonight, I realized that I have NO clue how the sucker works.

Here is a picture of it (http://www.modernstudio.com/images/600_MINI_SWIVEL_FOAMCORE.JPG) I don't know if it's supposed to go at the bottom of the foam core and the FC just rests in it, or if you are supposed to gaffe tape the foam core to it.

Any hints on how to use it?

It goes on the back of the foam core with double stick carpet tape or those foam squares 3m makes for hanging pictures.

If you put it too close to the bottom edge the foam core may kink in the breeze. I usually stick it on about 1/3 the way from the bottom edge so there's some room to angle it without having to extend the grip arm too far.
