That doesnt look too bad to be honest. For small jobs that just require a little motion this would be easyto set up in a snap.

I picked up a brand new proam 8 to 12 foot crane with stand for 305$ on ebay

Very nice, I just checked the Proam crane, nice price. It's a little bit big to carry around, IMO. Do you have the link for $305?

You have to bid on ebay to get it. It took me 2 times to get this price. The price will go from 305 to 350. It all depends on how many are bidding. I ended spending 200$ more for a different tripod for it, and cable support, and a bearing mount.
I like the crane you listed. I think at this price range, most of these cranes are about the same. I am sure if you pay more money, you will get a better crane, but all I wanted to spend all together, including a tripod, was about 500$

It just got delivered today from UPS.
I will go play with my new toy this week.
