Miller Solo DV Carbon Fiber tripod legs question

Hey all,

I just bought a set of Miller Solo DV CF legs off ebay, stoked on the purchase, but I'm aiming this question at people who actually own the legs. I have no reason to believe they are fake or counterfeit (is that even possible?) but the design of the carbon fiber in the pictures is different then other pictures I've seen on the web, and I don't have a Miller dealer near me to check 'em out.

So people who own the sticks, is this was the CF looks like? I thought the CF was supposed to look more like a weave than a swirled pinstripe.

I'm probably just being paranoid, but please let me know.

Cheers

Thanks for your input. I haven't actually received them yet, but according to the seller they're 3 years old, so I would assume they do not have the rapid-lock. Although the legs on that 3 stage in the video do have that swirl thing going on...anyone else have these sticks to help clarify?

I have an older set of Solo's and this is what they look like. Very subtle pattern. Mine don't have the foam grips on the top stage. I took those off and replaced them with the Miller covers.

That's the design I've seen before...hence my skepticism. It's definitely possible they changed the look on the newer ones, can anyone confirm?
