Hi guys! I am a retired Canadian Military Sergeant and I have started a small consulting and SPFX make up business. After 20 years and tours around the world, including Afghanistan, I decided that someone could need my help to bring realism to any type of war or Police/SWAT tv series or movies. I take care of weapon handling, basic soldering skills, house clearing technics, show how to wear uniforms properly and as well with the proper insignas. I was a combat medic so, trauma is my specialty. The make ups i do are based on real life experience and cases I have seen during my 20 years.

You can find me at www.trauma-sim.com, feel free to go have a look and give me your comments. I am a free lancer and i'm doing it to honour the memories of my friends and fellow soldiers.

Looking forward to hear from you all.

Cheers!

Not bad! And glad you are in Nova Scotia! LOL!

I provide a similar service down here in So Cal. But I focus more on the weapons side.

Website is currently undergoing major overhaul. But the company is Indie-Arms, and we have close to 200 prop guns now, SWAT gear for 10 actors (including helmets, battering ram, Tactical shields), ACU Tactical Gear, MCU Gear, Firefighting Gear, Medical/Surgical props.

I also teach weapons handling/tactics for actors. Nothing kills me more than seeing a good looking film, but the actors protraying SWAT or military don't even know how to handle the weapons or use proper tactics. Realism can really sell what you are portraying in those circumstances.

If you are ever down in So Cal, hit me up.

LOL, BTW, good to see another medic on the site! I was a US Navy Corpsman, back in the day.
