I thought it'd be best writing it here more than in the writing section, but:
So I've been planning this short film and writing it for at least half a year now on and off. It's around 15 minutes long that I'm planning to film in April for a local film festival. Though in the climax of it I'm not sure how things should go.
Very very, very, simple the plot goes like this:
Ex Cover Ops who have now become the countrys biggest threat have gotten into a Government Buildign and extracting a file of information, and leaving via helicopter. There plans gone wrong and theres a team gone in to try and save the hostages. Rainbow Six style team.
Though at the end of the day amongst there somewhere in the plot, the Government decide its easier to take down the building, than letting the truth in the documents get out. Hence destroying it.
So the logical thing we thoguht of, is that they place explosive charges aroudn the beams supporting the structure and detonate it. Covering the tragedy up as if the terrorists blew up the building. Though what I'd like to do, is send two Fighter Jets across the country and city towards this landmark to air strike it. It's just more dramatic in the final scenes really without going into to much detail.
Though I want to keep it as real as possible, and that's becoming a problem.
If there was a conspiracy being planned, to take out a building for whatever reasons with terrorists and friendlies inside. I'd need to figure out what the terrorists are escaping with, that could be so powerfull enough if exploited to take down the structure with them inside at any cost.
It's set in a main UK city, so at the end of the day I want to keep it as realistic and as possible as i can. I've got half the permission and cast pretty much sorted for it.
So if anyone has any ideas or suggestions to throw into the hat, I'd appreciate it. =]
