Hey all,
If you haven't checked out the M2 flip module follow the link...It looks really nice and the least "bulky" of all the other flip modules.

So here's the big question that's not addressed in there website. How much light loss??? We all know the M2 isn't known for the minimal light loss, like the Brevis and letus adapters...did they focus on improving this with there flip mod? Also if this flip is comparable to the brevis flip in performance and will work with the Brevis HD adapter we all could save some money...the m2 flip is about a hundred bucks less than the brevis flip mod, and the "drop" isn't as extreme due to it's size. Any thoughts/ideas. Would it work with the Brevis? It comes out on March 24th....Really close to me Birthday(: Looks cool...interested to hear some thoughts and opinions.

Ok So I did a little search in the last 10 minutes and found this article

It answers alot of the questions one would have in regards to the flip mod. Looks like the threads on this thing are 55mm so you will need a step down ring. and the M2 itself is 72mm threads so that must be what's on the "adapter" side of the unit...is that right?

This is what is states on their website

Pricing

"$345 (taking care of their own(: for M2 adapters (serial number required), $445 for other adapters" so there must be some compatibility. I'll be searching around to find out.

M2 uses a 55mm thread - the old RR achromat uses a 72mm thread.

Check this out: http://redrockmicro.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5189

It shows you that the microX kit includes everything you need to raise the camera, hard mount the M2 to the microX, microX to achromat, and achromat to camera lens.

I don't have an other adapters, but I plan on buying a microX next week and I'll be happy to test it with any other adapter if anyone in NYC with a Brevis or SGPro wants to meet up and experiment with different flip/adapter combos.
