Microsoft's new Surface 2 as an editing-post production device

Intrigued by Microsoft's new Surface 2 hybrid tablet-desktop device.
Anyone know how well it will run common apps like Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve, etc?

I think the touch screen is in many ways superior to an iPad since it is pressure sensitive-wacom friendly.
 
Sales of the Surface 1 were terrible, and Microsoft ended up writing off $900,000,000 because of un-sold Surface 1 inventory.

I would be very cautious when investing in any MS Surface product.
