Microphone Splitter Question

Just two; I need to split one output and the other one will be used...nothing too important hence the frugal approach.

Probably it will be fine. What you don't know and I couldn't find is what is inside. Probably just some small capacitors to block the phantom.

So the problem that could happen is that because it's not buffered the input settings could interact with each other, ie. changing one might effect the other level also. It's not a killer even if it happens but be aware. In theory there also could be an issue with impedance since effectively you are lowering it, but with todays equipment I doubt it's an issue and even less so with SD.
