Microphone holder - DVX100

Yep two screws,
Don't lose it though (I did),
Panasonic part number: VYC0870 , MicHolder assy $70.82 on panasonic.com

Hijack in three ...two.. one...

Easiest thing to replace it with?
I still have the side adapter but not the holder itself,
For that much it seems better to buy the sabra and hotshoe adapter from soundroom.. Have an oktava arriving today, and no mount...

Unless your doing a one man eng gig and have no choice, the mount on the DVX is not going to do you any favours.

Thanks for the replies,
Not asking for a mic per say, but on an replacement for the mic holder, Will order a sabra and shoe mount soonish but as a temporary replacement.
The actual mic holder, went to a few local places no hotshoes with threads or mic holders. The Oktava is amazing, but not being able to mount it is a bit of a pain..

Don't understand quite what you're getting at. Perhaps I'm just dense.

A short perusal thru the Audio forum on this site will tell you that you really don't want to mount any mic on the cam if you don't absolutely have to (generally run 'n gun/eng scenarios). For these situations, most would use a mount that uses the hotshoe.

The Sabra som, AT 8415, K Tek ssm, etc. are all viable options.

More complete info can be had by perusing (and searching) the audio forum.
