Microcrystalline focus screen?

Has anyone outside of movietube created a successful microcrystalline focus screen?

Static adapters for the most part are the holy grail for obvious reasons.

micro wax is incredibly tough to deal with. i gave it a shot number of times and just kept getting "streaks" in my screen.

successfully i haven't with micro wax. other wax yes, but never the micro. you can try daniel's tut on how to get a wax screen. i had got better results using wax from a candle.
