Michael Bay does Transformers

i believe Michael rightfully deserves his stature as part of Hollywood. He knows damn sure how to make an entertaining pop corn flick. He's probably the best of his genre (a genre i don't care much about).

Transformers wise? much rather him do Transformer than say....... Paul W.S Anderson
 
It's too bad this film couldn't have been made when Welles was still alive. UNICRON kicked so much ass it's not even funny. Welles probably would have done it too. It was either Transformers or getting f'd in the a' by the studios for the umpteenth time.

I'm not a big fan of Bay, but he does what he does and he does it well. Too bad he couldn't have done it Well(es), though.

I'm a fan of MBay but I am still alittle nervous about it...We don't even know if Mbay has ever seen Transformer during the 80's. He was probably busy chasing girls with big hair in college. Well see.....
 
i'm also a fan of Bay's movie's. i hope they keep the movie serious cause with today's technology it can be pulled off easily, making it realistic and believable. i just hope it is not another 'Thunderbirds' disaster.
 
Spielberg is a producer on Transformers so I'm hopeful they'll deliver. This could make for some of the best CG action ever. Imagine the chase sequences!
 
The article states that Bay has said that he's a fan of Transformers and it will have the classic feel. This is the second feature that Bay has done with Spielberg (Spielberg lined up Bay to do The Island) and I think that Bay is trying to expand on his resume and style.

The movie will probably look amazing.
 
I hope that Bay does the CG thing similar to Jurassic Park. By that I mean, mix it up with computer and "real" effects. Just thinking of Armageddon and Bay will most likely have a good feel for the visual way to approach the special effects.
