mic to mount on my hvx

[Ronster]

I just got a senheiser me66-k6 to put on my hvx

but the mic is a bit long

is this a typical mic to use on your camera?

or did i get the wrong one?

can anyone recommend a mic for the hvx to be mounted on it?

my friend said the me66-k6 is fine...but i feel it is too long...am I complaining for nothing?

does senheisser make a shorter mic to be mounted on cameras
