hope this isn't too general, i read through a lot of Jeremy's sticky and it helped alot.
I currently own a RODE NTG-1 shotgun and am looking to build up my audio kit. Currently i am in the midst of shooting b-roll and events to be used for a documentary so the audio doesn't matter yet as i doubt i will use any of it but i want to start doing interviews soon and i'm curious what kind of stuff people reccomend.
As i mentioned this is a documentary situation and doing interviews but i will be doing some short narrative pieces as well so i want a good mix of equipment. What would you suggest as the next thing? A lav mic or the Oktava that Jeremy mentions? Im not sure which would be the best choice.
thanks for reading any suggestions are appreciated.
