mic muff or lightwave equalizer?

Looking at both windscreens. Do you really need a foam ws to use the Mic Muff with the Senn ME-66? According to the MM chart, I do. My Senn didn't come with one, and it looks like a proprietary shape. So that puts the total price near the Lightwave.

Any advice on this choice?

i don't know the model i had but my first mic was an me-66 with a rycote softie and a handheld shockmount as a combo kit.

i got the exact same rycote in the smaller size for my 416 and it has worked well for me.
