Mic Mount For Interviews

I have a possible gig coming up to film some interviews, and I have two mics...a Rode NT3 and an AT4073a. I'll be using my C300. I have mounts to hold them in place, but no boom or stand. The only stands I own are for my 4 piece light kit that I'll need that day.

Can anyone recommend a nice mic boom/stand that has a decent reach? Something good for sit down interviews? There's a number of them out there. Just curious if anyone has a favorite?

I use a Rode boom pole, a Boom-Buddy, and a c-stand or light stand with a gobo head. I already had the boom pole, so this made sense for me. If I were to get a new pole, it would be a K-tek graphite pole.

I normally use 2 standard foldable mic stands with boom arms. For one on one sit down interviews the work well, for 2 on one I can use one on each guest and a Lav on interviewer.
On stand up commercial shoots unscrew the second boom and screw it to the first boom arm, this gives full standing height for one person shoots.
If you keep your eyes open you can often pick them up for a few bucks from Pawn Brokers as musios often need money in a hurry.

A standard everyday MI boom stand will work for most sit-down interviews. A taller lighting type boom stand is popular, as well as the aforementioned fishpole and Boombuddy setup. If the 'talent' moves around a lot, an experienced boom op or lav would be recommended.
