Mic Holder

Hi, sorry about this non-DVX post but there seems to be very few places to turn in this business and this seems to be the most knowledgable. I own a DCR VX2100 and i need a mic holder much like the DVX's but i need it to fit my camera's handle, does anyone know if the DVX one will or if not where i could purchase one?Thanks all
 
im just going to let it go. Im sorry about that, i was being a jackass, it was uncool of me to have posted it in the wrong place even though it got more attention it was still uncool, and it was childish of me to just start calling names and stuff, especially to someone who has been so helpful to me many times in the past. so i honestly and sincerely apologize for my actions and i hope you accept edwierdo.
 
..we all make mistakes, mine was being flippant towards your posts, and for that I apologize. Though your other threads title was ill-advised, your question was genuine. I hope you got the info you needed re: your mic mount.

By the way, i was actually looking for a mic holder that would attach to the handle and hang to the side like the one on the DVX does because if i put it on the shoe which is at the front of the handle then it actually is recorded because of the fisheye on my camera. Sorry for not specifing beforehand.
 
Can anybody help me find a shotgun mic holder that would attach to the handle of my DCR VX2100 and not on the shoe on the actual handle like the DVX one? thanks kindly for your help.

There are no thread holes or ways to mount a shot gun mic mount onto the handle. The only option that I saw was this piece that I found on TecNec's website.

It may be a bit "clunky" but it should do the job. If you're interested, we are a TenNec re-seller so let us know and I can get you a little bit better deal.
