I'm sure it's something easily explained such as a nuclear powered, voyager type craft sent from an intelligent planet possibly eons ago... and the craft probably had a weakened hull due to bombardment of cosmic debris... which allowed intense heat of atmospheric entry to compromise the craft integrity at which point the intense heat cracked the containment of the nuclear power source... then as the craft began to break apart before impact the radioactive shrapnel peppered the area as the bulk of the craft remained enough intact to punch through the earth and expose a hidden sulfur vein.

That's just what the administration wants you to think!... that "meteor", as we'll call it, was really a moon rock that was "pre-tainted" with arsenic before it was launched from the astroidapult that's clearly visible (via the Hubbel, but they won't show us) outside of the lunar compound, referred to by the elite as "Martha's Vineyard -on the moon"... this poisonous rock was reportedly launched at the tiny peruvian village because of an NPR field station cleverly disguised as a Pita Hut (tm).
