Metals for DIY JIB

Where can I get inexpensive Metals? Preferably Aluminum

I would be needing U channels, Solid Rectangular Rods, and Rectangular Tubes that will allow the Solid Rectangular rods to slide through them.

I just checked one random item - .5" square x 8' 6061 aluminum:

Google or look in the yellow pages for aluminum suppliers in your area. Unless you're in the middle of nowhere, there should be at least one. You'll save on shipping and generally I can find most materials I need from one of local places. I always check them before looking at buying online.
