Metacafe - Earn some cash for all your hard work

This is going to sound like an ad but it's not - I have no affiliation with these guys, just use them to share my videos

Metacafe is a video sharing service like YouTube with one major difference: if your video gets over 20,000 views and you own all the rights to it (and I do mean ALL the rights - music, people etc) they start paying you in cold hard cash - $5 per 1000 views. We just hit the 20,000 mark on one of our videos and now there is $100 lying in wait for us as soon as we get our release forms in to them.

The community is littered with garbage and how-to videos right now so if you have something fresh, exciting and different you might very well get some money out of it.

And like YouTube you can embed the videos on any site so that whenever someone watches it you get another hit which brings you ever closer to those magic 20,000 views.

Gotta get those views, though! I remember reading about this earlier in the year I think. Also, don't you have to get good ratings, as well?
 
Ya, weve been on this for a while, atleast 6 months i think, though no time to create content that would be enertaining enough to get enough views, or resources to advertise and spread the word to get them
 
like I said, one of our videos hit the 20,000 mark in just one month. you need to have a rating over 3 (which is the middle) and that's it. I think the video climbed so high because it was featured on a bunch of blogs. nothing special about it really:

I think it's worth trying out regardless of whether you think you're going to get the views or not. If nothing else you get some more exposure
