Meta: Filming a Film

I'm filming an acoustic music group playing a soundtrack to a 1920s silent film; They'd like the wide (at least) to include the movie. Are there any tricks or pitfalls for getting a decent shot, or should I just be pasting this in in post? This is a concert with audience, multicam shoot.

So... a movie theater stage with a rear projection screen behind the musicians? You'd just need to balance your lighting with the screen brightness.
 
Indeed, the shot with the screen and musicians turned out to be the least challenging! The close ups of musicians was primarily lit by the screen; ranging from quite nice on a white screen, all the way through leprosy....
