We filmed with a Canon C100 and Atomos Ninja 2
We sent a 24p signal over HDMI, but embedded it into a 60i signal. The 24p signal has a pulldown added so that some fields are doubled and sorted in a way that it fits into a 60i signal. So it did a pulldown removal, but to change it into 29.97, which means it just stitched every two fields together--and no fields were lost.
What I a attempting to do is add the pulldown back to 60i, then remove the pulldown correctly to 24p. I have been told by Atomos that this is the way to fix the footage (getting rid of the artifacts).
Can be done in compressor, unfortunately, I don't have a defined workflow on how to do this. Does anyone know the work flow?
Thanks in advance.
