Mentor as Shapeshifter (examples?)

[Randall_Oelerich]

Can anybody list a movie(s) where the mentor archetype also functions as the shapeshifter archetype? I just watched a new release movie last night ("21") where this was the case. Trying to think of other examples.

I dont know how common it really is, but one example popped into my head right away - Training Day

Does "Batman Begins" and "Unbreakable" count?

What about the "Devil's Advocate"? We (the audience) know the 'mentor' is bad... but the main character does not until later.

Thanks guys, good examples. With Batman begins the one character (played by Liam Neeson) is mentor, shapeshifter, and antagonist all rolled into one!
