memory inefficiency warning?

when closing 2 diffrent projects today i recived a warning that said AFTER EFFECTS WARNING :memory inefficiency due to 1 unbalanced layer checkouts: . ram preview seem kind of sluggish also does anybody know what this could be?

Sorry about the late response.
Anyways, if you're working on multiple projects, and doing alot of ram previews, and the RAMs are sluggish or you get those errors, try going to EDIT/PURGE/ALL. This will clear out the image cache's and video memory. The problem is everytime you do a preview it has to rewrite over the previous one. So the purge completely erases this and lets you start from scratch. The reason it stays there is so you can open other programs or work on other timelines and then go back to it and it will retain the preview.
