"Media Pending" in Premiere Pro CC Yosemite

I recently upgraded to Yosemite from Mavericks because I was having kernel panics. It fixed that but now I am getting a "media pending" warning and I am not able to access any files. This lasts a few (2-3) minutes and then the media appears. Only happens on first start up, so if I quit and restart PP media is immediately available. Tried trashing prefs but no dice.

Anyone else having this?

I posted prob in Adobe forum but no solutions yet...
