The DP from my film asked if he could get a managed project on a data DVD so he can pull shots for his reel. He said to use media manager. So, I've been playing around with it but I just don't seem to be getting it. When I keep "include master clips outside selection" selected, the copy seems to include only the master clips I actually used for the sequence. In this situation, the file size is too big for the DVD. But, when I deselect the option, there's more clips included that I didn't use (even though "delete unused media from duplicated items" is selected) and the file size is almost cut in half. This size fits on the DVD. Shouldn't it be the other way around though? I don't understand.
Am I doing this correctly? Do I include the render files (which of course makes the size even bigger) as well?
