Media Manager Fails to Start

Without media mgr open, when I capture 38 minutes of DV, it doesn't show up in the media bin. All my other captures do, just not that one!

Oh well, guess I'll recapture it.
The other problem is that I cannot seem to get my Maxtor drive to update with 2.0 drivers. I had to buy a PCI card, cause the Dell C840 is 1.1 USB. I should be able to get that one.
When I first started capturing, the preview was all choppy and the audio was broken up, until I changed the capture directory to the Maxtor Drive...it was going to my main C: drive. I am an idiot once again.
