I've edited my film at 50% resolution/compression to save drive space. Now i've bought a 500 gig drive and I'm about to bring in the footage in my sequence again at 100%. I'm reading up on media managing and creating an off-line sequence etc. I don't want to erase my original sequence so i will copy and make a new one... I'm really scared... I've done this in Avid but never FCP... any nightmare stories out there? things to consider? any "5 easy steps"??
