Media Library

I haven't really given the Media Library a second thought, until now.. so, I'm trying to follow the instructions for creating a new library but I don't see the button called the 'Media Library Actions' button in step #2, all I see is the Media Manager pane with the words 'No media library open" in the middle, and no buttons anywhere that look like the one below?:

1. <LI class=kadov-p>If the Media Manager window isn't already visible, choose Media Manager from the View menu.
2. Click the Media Library Actions button
   
   and choose New Media Library from the menu. The New Media Library dialog is displayed.

in the media manager pane, and in the 'search results' window, it is the icon to the far left. it has a drop down menu where the first item is 'new media library'

Grab the vertical bar between the Media Manager and the Preview Window and drag it to the right. Your window is sized way too small to see the icons. You need to make it bigger. (or tear off the Media Manager window so it floats and make it a lot bigger)

Yeah, I definitely opened it all the way up, to no avail. Here's a pic of the window floating:

Well, apparently there is an update from 6.0c to 6.0d, although it doesn't say anything specific to what I'm seeing, it does have a number of updates to the Media Manager, so who knows maybe it will automagically correct the problem!
