I recently had an issue with a media file going offline. I moved a folder and once I did that a few of my images on my timeline now have red/black box that state some of my clips are offline. The odd thing is that it is not offline in the browser and when I play the whole project through on the timeline it works fine. When I go to File, Reconnect the offline button is grayed out and the online button is highlighted. Does anyone have any idea how I can get my images back on my timeline? Has my project become corrupted? Thanks.

Yeah -- Select the clips in the timeline and do a control-click Reconnect Media. I think it will find all once you find one. If not, select the entire sequence -- Apple-A in the timeline. And reconnect from there.
Why it's playing... FCP is actually playing the RENDER files, not the media files. You must have rendered the files at sometime.
Connected in browser and not in sequence... I guess that's just the way FCP does it... you must have reconnected in browser but for some reason didn't go to sequence. Don't know.
