Media encoder cs4&h264

Ok, i have shooted a video on DVCPRO50,but what ever i do i can get nice looking QT footage.I will not edit it,my client is just asking it for qt files.So i export them by importing to media encoder,choose qt file,and h264 codec.Everyone here loves h264 codec but my videos really really looks compressed and awfull.But if i choose h264 as a file and compressor none or whatever is looks fine at least acceptable but then encoder makes them mp4 files...Even qt+uncomp is suspicous..

Is anyone have idea 4 to have the best and less compressed qt export?

ok i dscover that, if i choose pal dv widescreen it makes huge compression but if i choose custom and write in manually 720x576 then h264 codec is lovely..weird but worked 4 me..
