Media Browser not showing files below 100

So I am trying to import AF101 AVCHD files using the media browser and the only files that are found start from 00100. Is there a setting wrong somewhere. Any help most appreciated.

Thanks.

Unfortunately not. I can reach files 00001-00151 if I "import" the files, but 00100-00151 do not show up when I browse the file folder in Media Browser.

Is the AVCHD file structure on your card corrupt? Never heard of this and the only thing I can think of would be file system corruption....or user error.

How would you check if the file structure is corrupted?

I recorded to one card all day Saturday. When I came hom I copied the card to my edit drive and had the problem. I have just tried it direct from the original card and exactly the same thing happens. Only shots 00100-00151 show.

Seems weird that it starts at such a neat number as 100. And as before all shots are importable if I right-click import.

Media Browser will not show the individual clips that are part of a larger spanned clip. So if you record a long clip, even though it comes out as several files, Media Browser shows it as only one clip, because that is what you intended it to be.

This is normal functionality.

That's for helping Jim but that isn't what is happening. The first clip showing in Media Browser is 00100. This is about 90 minutes into the day's recording. Lots of individual shots.

When you put the card into your SD card reader and browse to PRIVATE-->AVCHD-->BDMV-->STREAM, do you see all your .MTS file there?

Can you drag them individually into Premiere?

Do they play ok?

-If the files are not there on the card, then they were not recorded and something is wrong with your cam.
-If they ARE there but do not show up when trying to import using Media Browser, then most likely the clip information is corrupt. This could be a camera problem or SD card problem.

Let know..I'm curious..never seen this.

Yeah, it's that they don't all show up in Media Browser. I also have Avid Media Composer and I can access the files as normal there. Odd.
