Mechanical 3 axis "Snow" gimbal

This is actually quite clever. The water in the dome forces it to level out more quickly. I think that they may have a winner here.

Having looked at all the motorized stabilizers I'd say this one looks very promising. The footage shows looks very smooth so I will look into it when it's ready. No need for me to be an early bird user.

I treid to get into the gimbal game with a Pansonic LX100 on a generic "CAME" type electronic gimbal. Spent two days balancing/tuning it, only good thing I can say about it is that it was better than a Glidecam for slower moving shots. Walking or running with it was not stable enough. The guy I sold it to was never able to tune it for a GH4 after days of trying.

If the "Snow" works as well as it appears to, it could be a simple remedy for all the drawbacks of the electronic gimbals.

I can't see how emulating the delay in pan typical of single-user gimbals can possibly considered an asset to a design.

Hahaha! Yeah, I watched that part and thought: "Really? who would WANT that?" But I guess any little thing it can do might be considered a bonus to somebody - so marketing says "keep it in the video!"
