check in the sound section, there is alink to me 66 clip and how does it sounds when you compare it to better mike
not every good looking and popular is popular good , if you have a few bucks 9franks -euro) there is better options (and even few used mikes are better option)
you dont need self powered option in dvx case , the camera supply the phantom power whih powers that mike ,
if its your choice for mike its good , if it my choice inever would put it for dialog and on camera as well -to long
check the at 4073 , used 416p48,used akg 560- ck69
the pd-170 is so popular so whats wrong

Search through the SCREEN GRABS section...I can't remember where I saw it but someone shot an interview with I think Pharrell Williams (N.E.R.D.) if not him, it was another Music Artist and they used a ME66. I know they used the ME66 because the person that posted the clip listed the equipment he used for the shoot.
