me66 and roll off filter

Should I use the roll off filter on my me66? I searched and coulden't find anything...

in short, yes.

there is not really any vocal information at very low frequencies, usually only rumble and muck, so its a good idea to use the roll of filter, unless of course you are applying a similar roll off on a mixer or something like that.

a lot of people here, me included, would say that you should record everything with a low cut as theres nothing to gain by NOT using it, but plenty to gain by using one.
