If doing sound in 5000 square foot studio with a little reverb, which mic should work better for dialog? me66/k6? octava hyper? or senn 416?

if there is no reverb in the room , the 416 will sounds usially better - stay away from the 66

the 416 will probably be the best mic for that situation.

you need to have a careful hand pointing that mic to get the best results.

if you were in a low ceiling room like a house the oktava would probably be better.

i have both the oktava's and one 416 and the 416 doesn't get used much anymore because almost everything i do is in houses and smaller rooms not studio's with large rooms and high ceilings.
