guys...
just bought a Focus Enhancements MCSDI-1 POrtable Media Converter... curious to explore a solution to get HDSDI out of HVX200...so i took a shot and bought this. IN the manual and online, it says that the device can be powered by a 7.2–30V DC battery.
Is that the same Pana batt as i use on a factory HVX200? If so...is there some type of cradle that has a connector cable to attach to the AC port on the Focus? Ive been searching, and cant find out what i need to power this device portably.
ANy help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

The HVX uses a Panasonic CGA-D54S battery or equivalent. That is a 7.2 v 5400ma battery. The MCSDI-1 requires 7.2v to 30v DC at 10 watts and is powered by a supplied AC adapter. I don't see where in the manual for that product you can power it with a camera battery but I suppose if you could rig up a connector to fit the MCSDI-1 DC input jack and attach it to a camera battery or find a healthy cam battery with that type of power plug it would probably work.
