MBP Retina questions

Hi
I'm considering purchasing an MBP Retina 15.4". Any opinions would be appreciated but I also have some questions:

Is there some important dif between the 2.6 and 2.7 processors? It seems a little silly to have a .1 dif unless there is.

Anyone editing on the Retina version find glare a problem? In my prev mbp I chose the flat instead of glossy version because of less glare, and the retina version I saw at Apple store today seems like it would have problems.

Is the flash drive superior to the usual?

The apple person was saying how the retina version doesn't show pixels in blowups of pics but wouldn't that be a kind of fake version of a pic and wouldn't one be better off seeing the problems?

Would you say I'm incredibly good looking or just really really good looking? (Sorry, that slipped out.)

Anywho, any opinions, tips or info would be appreciated.

I have the MBPR. Best laptop and COMPUTER I've ever owned (out of like 15 of them).
If you buy, just top it out. Full processor, full ram, full SSD.

Flash SSD is the fasted I've EVER seen in a product. Black Magic disk test can't even handle it.

Retina is not a problem. You can have the screen emulate other resolutions. AND, I attach either my 27in Thunderbolt display or my 30in Apple cinema and sometimes both, while outing to an HDMI LCD. All of those display at non retina resolutions. But looking at the web and such on the retina makes you cringe when on a non retina.

Glare not a problem. In fact I see the monitor better on this laptop than any other monitor I've ever owned in bright light. I will edit photos in full sun on this laptop.

Buy cheap, buy twice. Fully spec it out if you purchase.

One tip, buy a cooling pad for desktop use, maybe even lap use. The machine gets WARM.

SO FAR I LOVE MY MBPR. I've narrowed down 4 computers into a single laptop. I wouldn't cut Avatar on it, but then again I'm not making Avatar. With my G-Drive TB attached, I have streamed up to 8 fully uncompressed videos at the same time and it worked great.

I wish Apple sold these SSD's separately. I would buy them up. FAST FAST FAST!

Thanks much for the tips!!
Just curiously, what cooling pad do you use? Btw, for years I've put chopstiks under my mbps to get a little circulation.

I posted a 'how to calibrate the retina display in a separate thread in the Premiere section... but I'll post the same request here...

How does one calibrate the retina display? The old display 'color' widget had a simplistic calibrator. I have a Spyder (II I think...) for a more accurate calibration...

But what have other used... if they used anything at all.
