maybe the internet is going to kill us

imagine a future where everyone spoke online
and no one knew how to speak to each other
maybe the internet is going to kill us

That could never happen! Now excuse me, I have to go onto dominos.com to order lunch, upload my voice overs to my client in Australia and get payed via paypal.. then I have a very busy day of shopping to do on Amazon.com and groceries to order from delivery.com, and I have to get to bed, I have a busy day inside on my computer tomorrow!

I've half-pondered the idea that all societies evolve into sheep and shepherds. The internet is a really good way to facilitate that.

The internet, and the "panic" for social acceptance (popularity?) will be another way to create a few kings and a sh*t-ton of peasants that are happy to live in a world unto themselves, that's shrinking around them... apparently, for many people... the need for constant social validation outweighs the need to actually get out of the house.

I've also always thought (for amusement) that if those big-headed gray aliens were real, that it would be more likely for them to be human visitors from the future... because with the way people use technology I think that's what we'd all end up looking like... constantly indoors... little to no physical labor... and eventually you get one of those things... :)

I've pondered the idea that at some point, all advanced technological societies vanish into a virtual world and cease being corporeal, which is why we haven't found any evidence of alien life. They've gone to inner space, not outer space.

Oh yeah? Well I've always said that if the matrix was real... people would pay a FORTUNE to get into one of those little tubs of Jello :)

Seriously... the line would be a mile long... way more popular then Black Ops... people couldn't get into that thing fast enough... that's the biggest flaw in the matrix... to keep everyone happy in it all they needed was facebook.
