Mattebox filters?

I just bought the Redrock mattebox and really need to pick up some good filters. Does anyone have any suggestions on which filters I should buy? Redrock has a set of three for $495 but I don't know, they seem a bit pricey.

Tiffen, Formatt and Schneider are commonly used in professional applications. Less expensive ones are available and can hold up well even for HD acquisitions.

Sorry for the high jack Jay, Eric I was checking your hard cases on your site, do you have something suitable for a DVX100A?

No worries, I was just trying to give him some options. I always advise that you should purchase filters as a part of your longer-term kit. Well maintained, they'll outlast most cameras you put them in front of.

For the Storm Cases (now Pelican) we have the im2500, which is perfect for a DVX100 / HVX200 / HPX170 size cameras with charger, batts, P2 cards. It is the largest carry-on size case available. Be sure to enter the DVXUser discount code when you check out!

Cheers,

e
