MatteBox and FollowFocus compatible with Arri SR 2 S16 and Canon 5D/7D setup

Hi forum,

im new here and start with a distinct question.

i am looking for a combination of mattebox/follow focus/ base plate which will work with the 2 cameras (Arri SR 2 Super 16mm & Canon 5D/7D) the arri i already got - the 5D/7D i will get soon. I have only a simple clip-on Mattebox for the ari and still a follow focus is missing. Im also still missing a base plate - i just mounted the arri with a simple quick release from manfrotto. so i was wondering if there is a combination that will work for a arri setup and a canon rig. i was looking at the zacuto universal base plate which could maybe serve both cameras. since both cameras need 15mm rods it should be doable. i m just wondering about height adjustment for a mattebox and follow focus. i was looking at the redrock micromattebox for its good quality/price. could that work with both system? for the follow focus i have no clue - i can imagine it must be something flexible and adjustable serving both type of systems/lenses. i do have to watch for price so im looking for something at max. 1000$. so the bigger arri/chrosziel are just to expensive for my budget. i like the vocas but dont know if it would serve.

any suggestions or somebody with a similar setup out there

An Element technica baseplate and dovetail would be a good place to build from. Then Redrock may be what you are looking for for a mattebox and follow focus.
 
element technica is quite expensive. the combination would come to 1500$. puuh thats quite some. i suppose i have to find a place to compare the different options. what about a good follow focus that can bei adjusted in height?
