mattebox / anamorphic compatibility

hi im looking at picking up one of CAVision's 4x4 matteboxes (http://www.cavision.com/matteboxes/4x4hs/4x4hs.htm), but I am still on the fence as to whether or not I will invest in an anamorphic converter or just crop in post. does anyone know if this MB will work with the anamorphic, and if not, what does?

At the very end of the Barry Green's DVX book, they talk about some of the pitfalls of the anamorphic adaptor and I believe one of them is the fact that you can't use a mattebox with it. However, I think it said except for the Cavision. Like the Cavision has some kind of adaptor or something. I might be wrong. I can't reference my book right now, but if you have it, just look at the very end.
